Abstract

This article seeks to uncover hidden aspects of the Quran, focusing on verses that address the rhetoric of the people of hell. It examines a diverse set of verses, their formulations, and the discourses they contain. More specifically, the study describes and analyses the cognitive and linguistic dualities in Quranic verses that directly tackle issues related to the rhetoric of the people of hell, shedding light on key rhetorical purposes and structural advantages across various discursive contexts. Since this matter is scattered across various chapters of the Quran, the article cannot cover it all. Hence, this paper is limited to verses in which the intended meaning is explicit.
