1- Al-Majmaʻ: Journal of Arabic Language Literature and Thought accepts manuscripts pertinent to its thematic focus only: Arabic language, literature, and thought.
2. Al-Majmaʻ will not consider manuscripts that have been published elsewhere in print or digital format and that are currently under review by another journal.
3. Each manuscript should include two abstracts written both in Arabic and in English, and each abstract should range between 10-15 lines ( 120-180 words).
4. Manuscripts should be sent by email to mjmaa@qsm.ac.il or to saida@qsm.ac.il in Microsoft Word format.
5. Word limit: Manuscripts should be 7000-12000 words (the word count limit includes a title, abstract, tables, figures, and references list).
6. Authors should submit a title page in a separate file that includes the title of the paper, the author’s name, and the institutional affiliation.
7. Tables and figures should be editable in Word and their titles should be concise and descriptive.
8. To guarantee consistency in matters of grammar, mechanics, and formatting, authors should follow Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) or Modern Language Association (MLA). Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines will be rejected.
9- Page Layout and Borders: In Microsoft Word, on the Page Layout tab, click Page Setup: Paper Type, then Custom Size: 17x24cm.
Top Border=2.5cm, Bottom Border=2.5cm, Right Border=2.3cm, Left Border=2.3cm.
10. Font: Manuscripts should be written in Arabic, (Sakkal Majalla with font size 14), or in English (Times New Roman, or Times Beyrut Roman, with font size 11.)
