Abstract
The study took on its shoulders the discovery of the clarity of the dual presence and absence in the divan of the contemporary Palestinian poet Abd AlNasser Saleh.
The indications of the dualism come from the relations of the main related signs of presence from one side, and absence from the other side. These signs are presented in Al Madaa'in texts in the four main axes which are ego, female, time, and place and language.
The importance of this study deals with the current controversial issue which constitutes the aestheticism of the literary text as well as directing the text toward the desired goal.
The researcher depends mainly on the contrastive structure between the presence and absence in the four axes which work in harmony, not in contradiction; in Saleh's texts. Moreover, the study used the analytical approach in the aim of approaching the core of poetic text and being far away from the self-tendency and impressionism.
The study is followed by results and resources.
