Abstract

This research examines, through semiotic theories, the construction of the main character and the significance of the story "Hoopoe Attar" by Clara Seroji- Shajrawi.  

The research first identifies the central character with textual controls in the story, according to the Model of the researcher Ibrahim Taha,  (semiotic cognitive Model). The research first presents the characterization of the main character and its intellectual and artistic framing along the text. Second, the research determined the quality of the characterizes, the main character with the story, the introduction of the functions of other personalities and the disabled, the author of which is imposed by the collective functions. Then, through the examination of meaning and significance in the story, which demonstrates intellectual and human thinking. the research revealed an ideological political concept in the story. More specifically, the main character demonstrates the meaning and significance of the story, and its impact on what the story is determind atention. This research identifies the main character as an "anti-hero". Accordingly, the character of the queen that very semantics. semi-consensual element- she is the shadow of the king and has an important role in the process to the knot. She helps to enlighten the public opinion on her husband the king, through the need to revolt against oppression and tyranny as a feminist figure.... With the public without the scruples of religion duplicity.
