Abstract

Outstanding social phenomena in the Arab-Israeli society today is the phenomenon of the "conflict of generations." The Generation conflict is present in all societies but differentiated by social change, which influences and affects the social relations between parents and children. The form and nature of the conflict have advantages that vary from one community to another, by virtue of the conditions experienced by every society, by building social and familial system of principles and concepts that raise and go, Therefore it is necessary to understand the conflict of generations in every society on the basis to determining the nature and form of this conflict. Arab family in Israel is undergoing rapid changes and losing functions from day to day. The gap between parents and children growing and raising, intellectually and emotionally. The questions that this study answers are: Is it possible that "generational conflict" in the Arab family "case" threatens the building of the family, or is it "the phenomenon of" functional adaptable.
