Abstract

The survey of the attitudes of Arab students about the extended family focused on personal issues, which are related directly to the personal lives of the students and to some social and general issues related to the life of the Arab village.

The main objective of the survey is to get to know the attitude of the Arab students about the extended family in general and whether it still maintains its power in society or it has weakened due to some changes in the Arab population.

The sample of the study are 150 Arab students who were asked to answer 10 questions

The findings of the survey indicate that the lives of Arab students are still strongly influenced by the extended family and that they still believe that such a family plays an important role in their lives.
