Abstract

This research tries to reveal differences in preferring counseling factors among teenagers in different places; city, kibbutz and the Arab Sector. The counseling preferences were divided into categories and the teenagers were asked to choose a category which suits them most in terms of referring to it in cases where they need counseling. These categories were divided into formal, semi-formal and natural counseling factors. One important finding in this research teaches that teenagers from all sectors would prefer natural counseling factors e.g. family, friends … The research also tries to trace back the set of considerations that spur each group of teenagers to prefer one counseling factor upon the other in regards with the place they live in.
