Abstract

This article addresses the contrasting styles of Arabic and Hebrew regarding meanings, syntax, and structures. Attempting to illuminate similar and different aspects of both languages, we found numerous resemblances in some structures whereas we only traced some differences in others. Therefore, this article has been divided into three sections. The first is an introduction that focuses on the way by which researchers have apportioned contrasting styles in Hebrew and their extensive use before delving into the comparative study. This step is fundamental as it facilitates understanding the comparison between both languages. The second part delivers the main subject, which compares contrasting styles between Arabic and Hebrew, while attempting to infer resemblances and differences. The third part wraps up the conclusion that includes the main results. The research also provides an appendix of Arabic letters, their corresponding Hebrew letters, and their phonemes according to the transliteration method.
