Abstract
The poem “The Deserted Well” employs many narrative and drama techniques, which turn it into a “theatrical poem”. The narrative and drama tendency is embodied in this poem through the employment of interactive narrative and drama elements such as characters, time, place, events, narrator, multi-voices and values, multiplicity of perspectives through the use of internal and external dialogue, diversity of conflicts, pronouns, voices and actions. All these constitute an attempt to portray a daily reality and shed light on it objectively
