Abstract
The research studies the features of religious intertextuality (Islamic and Christian) in Josef Al-Khateeb's poetry. Its main focus surrounds seven main pivots: June between defeat and victory, the picture of ego and others, the bitterness of exile and the return dream, the intensive religious intertextuality, the ironic political speech, the overlap between religious, traditional, and mythical intertextuality and the connection between Islamic and Christian intertextuality.
