Abstract

It should be noted that the Oriental and Arabic Studies have been concentrated funny comic figures, such as Asha'b and Juha and others. However, we couldn’t find a comprehensive study in particular which dealt with Muzabbed al-madani. Perhaps because most of his genre anecdotes literature is not gentle or sober and we do not mean anecdotes of people with disabilities, but bad sexual Anecdotes. This means that some of the people who used to collect literary texts were not interested in recording such texts because of ethical reasons. This applies to modern research.

We have addressed in this article Muzabbed’s Anecdotes found in different literary books and tried to classify them into different fields, including those associated with being stingy and indecency and immorality and cynicism, and other types. Therefore, we have concluded that they can be classified into two aspects: the kind aspect and the bad (non standard) ones. This is in itself is a kind of creating a balance in literary books.

In addition, our study is based on a manuscript in which a lot of his Anecdotes was collected. The title of this manuscript: "Ithaf al-mutawaddid b-nawader Muzabbed" which we received from the Yale University of America.
