Abstract

The article deals with the necessity to promote change in the method of pedagogy in teachers' training seminars and colleges, and the need to change the frontal method widely used in teaching and training to another method emphasizing the Humanistic Approach in education, meaning "putting the student in the center" while the teacher operates as a facilitator to the process of learning by creating suitable circumstances for his blooming.

The suggested alternative model of pedagogy is an attempt to shape a new approach which includes the qualitative traits in pedagogical training described in research literature.

The model suggests a method of pedagogical training in pairs, two pedagogical trainers working together, each has a number of students, these trainers will operate as college employees with one demand; one has to master working with high tech instruments, i.e. computers.
