Abstract

This article deals with the spread of cheating phenomenon in Israeli schools in
general and cheating in the Bagrut exams by Arab and Jewish students in
particular. The main purpose of this research is to consider the manifestations of
school cheating behavior and then focus on the size of the phenomenon, its spread
causes, its widespread styles, disclosing the social and educational effects and the
factors responsible for its increase and finally introduce some of the steps and
methods that constrain such phenomenon. This research used mainly the qualitative
method and to some extent the qualitative method as well. A sample of students
from teacher education colleges consisting of 400 students from the Arab and
Jewish sectors was selected in this research.
