Abstract
This article accounts for the concept of “advice” in Arabic literary folklore. It appears that the "advice literature" moulds our philosophical, social, and religious life. And because "advice literature" is very common in Arabic literature, I believe that both the implications and the indications of such literature should be scrutinized thoroughly in terms of classifying this type of literature into different genres which are based on different rational, contents and methods.
