Activating the Integrative Role between the Family and the School to Reduce the Phenomenon of Bullying in Primary School Pupils

Abstract

The study aims to identify the causes of school-bullying and investigate the role
of the family and the school in order to limit it, and offer proposals to activate
integrative role between the family and the school, anti-bullying among primary
school children, and use the analytical approach, the researcher, and to highlight
its findings. The salient ones are: the most important motives leading to bullying
are psychological factors, social, school, and economic and the family constitutes
the basic assessment unit to limit the focus of bullying in order to create an
atmosphere for raising up healthy family, functions and school pupils to give
moral values, and proposals for activating the integrative role: the establishment
of close links between educational institutions and the family. Furthermore, the
study recommends to inquire the issue of bullying victims and its relationship to
parental treatment methods among pupils.
