Abstract

This article deals with the importance of good preparation for the exam, with focus on the importance of the reading method used by the student in his/her preparation for the exam. The article present one of the modern reading methods called PQRST, which is based on text preview, formulating questions, reading the text, self-recitation and self test. The article also presents different guidelines for effective reading, which is based on behavioral-cognitive techniques that contain pre and post exam guidelines.
