Abstract
The article deals with the application of the behavioral-cognitive therapy for depressed children. The article present general introduction for the cognitive therapy and its basic principles, which are based on identifying thinking distortions, the importance of the relation between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Besides ,there is dealing with the behavioral therapy techniques that focus on the importance of the environmental reinforcements in human behavior modification. The focus of this article is the presentation of the behavioral-cognitive model for depressed children. This model is based on 11 settings, every setting has its style, objects and homework .The proposed model deals with the following subjects: the relation between thoughts, behaviors and feelings, Identifying negative automatic thoughts, Identifying feelings, self esteem, relaxation trainings and social skills training
