As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.

Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Manuscript submission guidelines:
Researchers who plan to submit materials to Jami'a commit to publication in the journal. Authors submitting to a journal must not submit a manuscript to another journal at the same time. Nor may the manuscript be published elsewhere in a substantially similar format or with substantially similar content. Authors who have questions about what constitutes advance publication should consult the editor.

Submission Preparation Checklist:
- Jami’a adheres to the rules APA reference style (7th ed.) academic writing, including reference and page formatting.
- Eachmanuscript should include an abstract written in English as well as an abstract written in one of the following two languages: Arabic or Hebrew. Abstractsmust be no more than 300 words followed by 4-5 keywords.
- In the reference list, references should successively appear in Arabic, Hebrew, and lastly in English.
- If available, tables and figures should be numbered, editable in Word, andtheirtitles should be relevant and descriptive.
- Word limit:Article manuscriptsshould not exceed 8000 words including a title, abstract, tables, figures, and references.
- Font: Articles written in Arabic, Hebrew, and English will be accepted, and these should use11-point Times New Roman font, and 1.5 line spacing.
