Abstract

Fear prayer is an important educational topic in Islam. The researcher used
the fear prayer to portray the educational dimensions of the religious
requirements Allah ask Muslims to abide by and follow. This approach gives a
new vision in dealing with worship rituals. The researcher started this study by
showing the legality of fear prayer through the Qur'aan and Sunnah texts
describing it. The educational dimensions of the fear prayer within several areas
are addressed: religious, mental, moral, social, and psychological as well as
regulatory advocacy dimensions. Finally, the researcher showed the most
important educational implementations that can be drawn from the fear prayer in
the education field.
