Abstract

An aesthetic upbringing leads to a better knowledge of Allah, to a clearer evidence of His Grandeur and to a stronger emotional and sentimental ties with Him. It also fosters in humans the sublimity of taste, which is reflected in lofty behavioral types and social relationships. Aesthetic up-bringing attracts people more towards the creator of all beautiful things in this universe, Allah all praise be to Him.

The article intends to define aesthetic upbringing, its concept, goals and the institutions responsible for it, relying on Qur’anic texts and texts from the traditions of Prophet Mohammad, may peace of Allah be upon him, and the sayings of the intellectuals
