Abstract
The article reviews the school violence issue and explores the common used
methods to encounter this phenomenon, emphasizing the teachers’ need to
intervene to reduce it as much as possible. Schools bear the responsibility to
intervene in order to deal with teachers insulting and chiding students. In
general, the education system deals with violence, but this does not deprive the
school and its staff from dealing with it in a way that suits the organizational
and cultural privacy of the educational institution itself. One of the obstacles
that teachers find in tackling the phenomenon is the concern that not all staff
members of the school participate in the intervention and the expectation gap
between the staff and the parents.
